A lazy Sunday afternoon

Bali is truly to me a paradise. I was in Bali in last year during Galungan. The whole island basically went into uber slack mode. Bali was laid back before, but during the Galungan period, it just went up a notch. All the shops were closed. Everyone went back to the villages. The streets were empty. You drive up into the mountains and you see every household celebrating the festival. Everyyything was LAID BACK.

The first time

I couldn't really remember the last time I did some thing for the first time. Just yesterday, a friend was calling me a dinosaur. So I better try to do something to get back into the game. So I was thinking, I would be so cool cause I will have my own blog. And most of you looking at this would be thinking, "IDIOT! Blogging is passe!" Ha ha.

Anyway, Basically, wanted to create a blog with the sole purpose of sharing my photos. You know I am aspiring to be a photographer, and I thought this would force me to keep taking pictures. But if my wife finds out about the existence of this blog, it will soon be riddled with pictures of my daughter. Which I don't mind at all. (Just in case she does find this blog)

Yoda. I swear he is Yoda. I saw him crossing the road really slowly. I shot this pic, looked at my screen, realised it was blur, reset the camera, pointed (all these in 2 seconds cause I am that good) and there he is 20 yards away.

Reflection

Took me back to the time I used to hang out in Chinatown, New York.

I was shooting around, then I looked up. Damn! They looked almost as good as me, and they don't even have to try.
